Hi guys recently ive been in a pickle, as ucas forms are being filled in now I have made my choices ive always known that I would be leaving home to go but my parents have never approved. Coming from a strict muslim african family were girls nearly always stay at home I feel scared about what my mum and dad will say when I tell them so far we haven't really spoke about it but my dad did say in a angry way make sure to stay at home. I just feel that as a teen growing up i was sheltered to heavily and could never relate to my friends muslim and non muslim i want to take the chance of living away from home and just enjoy life by myself without so much rules and judgement What can I do I know my parents cant stop me but the anxiety has me really bad. any replies are welcome

    Hey
I'm in a Einar situation and feel real anxietyand I'm also really scared as I've grown up in an overprotective family never allowed to leave the house alone either so I was actually barred from going uni itself but uve decided that my future is far more important and eventually inshallah my panrets will come to terms with it so I'm just up and leaving and really hope for the best in the future.
