I'm applying for Ancient History and Classical Archaeology at the University of Warwick as my top choice so far. However, at AS I achieved ABBE and dropped one of my B's in order to continue with the subject I got an E in. I'm beginning to wonder if this was a mistake as the entry requirements are ABB for the course at Warwick and obviously offers are in relation to predicted grades which often reflect attainment at AS. I dislike the fact that this is so out of my hands as I know that I'm going to work incredibly hard this year in order to achieve at least ABB because I really want a place on that course. Anyone have any words of wisdom?

I dont really think this will be what you want to hear but you will be very lucky to get an offer somewhere with ABE. May I ask why you dropped a subject you got a B in? Would it be possible to restart that subject again while continuing with your E subject, or even studying a subject at home?
