# Help mathh plz fast question watch

1. The curve S, for 0 ≤ x < 360 ◦
, has equation y = 2sin x − 30 ◦
.
(a) Find the coordinates of the point where S meets the y-axis.

the solution bank says its (0,-2 )

but when x=0
y=2sin(-30)
y=-1
how ?? am i wrong or the solutions ?

Assuming you mean y = 2sin(x-30), the solution is wrong and you are correct.
