I'm doing 4 A-levels right now: English language, sociology, geography and computing. I want to drop English but I'm worried top universities won't accept me with only 3 A-levels. Is this something I should worry about?

Three is fine for entry at any uni. Studying 4 won't give you any advantage at all in terms of competitiveness.

3 is fine! 4 doesnt give you an advantage, its better to just focus on getting good grades for 3

Ah that's a relief. Any advantages to doing 4 then?

Genuinely barely any advantages to doing 4. Unis ask for 3. If it's adding stress drop your least favourite and concentrate on 3

agreed. I'm doing biology, chemistry, French and maths. I'm thinking of dropping French at AS coz theres literally no point.
