    Hello All!

Hope you're having a nice day

I have created an account specifically to ask for some guidance on what I should do next and how I would go about it. I don't however expect you to all be careers advisers!

So, I'm turning 22 next month and don't really feel like I've accomplished much (academically). I didn't do great in school for reasons that I'm not exactly proud of, though I did have the potential, I was quite lazy. I only have 6 qualifications as shown below.

    Maths-C
    English Lang/Lit-C/D (Overall C)
    IT-C
    IT DiDA-C
Level 2 meat and poultry industry skills
    Level 2 Business admin

I bunked off ALL of my science classes and really wished I hadn't.

I'm currently working a full time job as a Data Analyst for a distribution company, but I want to better my grades and hopefully someday get a A level and then a degree behind me for my own self worth. I have no idea where to start, ideally I would like to resist my science exams and then possibly further my English or IT skills but I fear that it has been so long since I sat my GCSE's, how little I would remember.

My next problem is that I'm unsure of what funding is available for these courses? Could I go back to college full time and get funded or would I have to pay for the course out of my own pocket and go to night classes?

For anyone that is wondering the meat and poultry thing goes back to when I was a young butcher, and before that a trainee farmer.

If anyone could help, it would mean so much to me and I will gladly provide any additional info that is required...with the exception of nudes and PIN number of course

    Thanks and enjoy your night,

    -Ben

    Hi Ben:hi:

Sorry that nobody has got back to you so far.

Nudes and PIN not necessary thank you:hand:

As for funding I doubt you'll get anything. You can buy some books and teach it to yourself, pay for the exams and find a centre who will take you (not entirely sure of how to do this but I know it happens).

Alternatively, if you'd prefer to be taught you'd have to find a college willing to take you as a mature student. Which is very possible but it might be more difficult.

    Hope that helps.
