    Can someone please help me.

So I started Uni this september 2017, and I never applied for student finance back in May becoz my parents agreed that they'd pay it themselves as they saved money for my uni fees. However, now they are buying a house and are in need of all the money they can get. Which leaves me in a tricky position, as I have already told the uni that I will pay the fees myself in installments. Could I still apply for student finance for this academic year? or is it too late for that?

Or could I apply for maintenance loan and use that to pay my fees?

Can someone please give me advice on what to do.

you can still apply for the tuition fees- the deadline for SFE is 9 months after the course has ended, just speak with the uni and they should change your circumstances meaning SFE will pay for your fees.
in theory its easy however i'm not an expert-put this on the SFE forums too and a guy who works for them will tell you whats up
