Does anyone know if st Catherine's is a friendly college and if it has a nice atmosphere and if it is pretty because it doesn't have a garden like selwyn or Clare?
It's close to the entry date and I am thinking about st Catherine's, selwyn or St. John's but don't want to make the wrong decision.

It's quite difficult to choose a "wrong" college.

"Nice atmosphere" and "pretty" are subject ideas. Selwyn is a gorgeous college in my view, I still didn't apply there.

Location was one of the most important factors for me. Maybe think about how centrally in Cambridge you want to live. Whether you want to be inside the tourist bubble or not.

The other thing worth considering is how big a college you want. Some people prefer a smaller environment of friends because they maybe didn't go to the biggest school and don't want to be overwhelmed by the size of, say, Trinity - as one of the biggest colleges.

Colleges choices is not something to sweat over:nah:
