Like off online dating or a dm slide in or something...

And let's say both parties don't like coffee

Buffets! They are the best, you can eat as much as you want and you can spend a lot of time there. Try Cosmos!

Go for drinks at a nice cocktail bar. If they do 2 for 1 then it's even better, it means you have an excuse to stay longer.

I totally recommend The Alchemist. Very gimmicky and it has sparkly ****, which is what the girls like. There's branches around the UK.

What do you mean? Explain your situation a bit more... probably best going to a bar or something?!

Yeah bit unclear of situation... are you asking how to ask out someone you don't really know? If so I would just message them and ask if they fancy going out sometime- I know some people prefer laid back first dates, as eating or whatever some people find really awkward, so maybe visiting somewhere or just a cafe/bar date may be better initially- also you can cut it short or go elsewhere after depending on how well it is going!

OK thanks for the suggestions guys. Cocktails is a good shout UWS I will look into it.

Guess I was a bit obvious. The situation is that I took a shot in the dark on a girl I was back and forthing with on snapchat. Asked if she was down to hang out she said yeah.

Then it dawned on me I had no idea where I would even take her XD

These man are DUMB. Taking a girl to a nice place on the first date sets a standard and she'll keep expecting it. If you take her somewhere cheap and she's up for a second date then you know she's a keeper. Gotta bait out dem gold diggaz

Every girl I've met is really awkward about restaurant dates lol. They get embarassed eating in front of boys that they fancy because they think they look fat or whatever.

The way you wrote this made me ill but I agree with the sentiment

I took her to the cinema and a mid market burger place. Incidentally she paid for the food at her insistence, so I sort of knew she was a keeper

Seriously though the moment I brought it up again she was like "yeah let's get drinks." Just made my life way easier.
