I got an offer for Newcastle for my dream course and it's really achievable (I already have 2 As at A2grades from last year, so they've said I just need to get a B this year and I'm predicted AA) so I pretty much know that I'm going to Newcastle Uni.

Before you actually went to the uni, how much info did you receive? Did you get info about modules & reading lists and stuff pretty far in advance if it was your firm?

Also, not Newcastle specific, but any idea what sort of time of year student finance applications open?

Hope everyones having a great first few weeks at uni, or first weeks back if you're a returning student

Have you looked on the website. Modules and sometimes recommended reading for those modules are often available online. Universities don’t normally send out welcome information until the summer before you start (and after you’ve met any offer conditions)

Student finance applications open in April iirr.
