    Hey there,

I finished my A-levels last year and I'm currently working at a crappy Euro Garage whilst going through UCAS again for 2018 entry.

I thought it would make more sense to try and find some entry level earth science related work, I'm currently applying to lab technician jobs at moment and I have a close relative who works for Eurofins at a higher (but she's a biochem grad and doesn't know much about the earth sciences) level. I don't really know what sort of job I should be going for, but I do know that I want to go into something involving natural hazards after university (seismology or volcanology).

What would you guys recommend for a clueless individual like myself?

Honestly at this stage go for whatever you can find. Without a uni degree you can't really afford to be picky as people more qualified than you will also be applying. You will learn a lot no matter what you do at this stage.
