If you're 16 or older you have nothing to worry about. You can see your GP by yourself and anything discussed or diagnosed will be kept completely confidential. You can even do all the paperwork for CAMHS or counselling by yourself.

If you're younger, I'm not too sure because I don't know at what point your parents are still able to access your medical records. But even then they would have to actually look/ ask. You can go see a doctor by yourself at any age and they won't call your parents to rat you out. You can also ask them when you're there about what your parents would be able to find out.

Honestly though, it's not a big deal if your parents find out and it may actually be a good thing. Only reason it would be an issue is if your parents are complete asses.

I was worried about my parents knowing cos I was embarrassed. I think it was 16 at the time. I made up some bs excuse to get a lif to the drs surgery for my appointment and once I got a diagnosis I told them. No issues other that a bit of awkwardness on my part. Tbh they already knew something was up and were just glad I was getting some help.
Past that I still dealt with everything by myself, but it was such a relief not having to hide things from them (even if it was a bit awkward or annoying at times).
