Is two months too early to know whether or not you like Uni? Watch

Hi All, I need some advice.
I have been at university for two months now and while I have made some really great friends, I really dislike the university.
I don't feel safe or comfortable there and dread going in each day. I have no passion for the course and there is no option to change courses as it is exclusively for business. I have been crying pretty much every day at the prospect of having to go in. The university counsellor who I spoke to suggested a gap year.
I was wondering whether 2 months here is too early to drop out, considering I have hated it from the start? And also if other people had dropped out and what they had done with their Gap Year?
    Thank you!

If possible, and you still want to consider studying at University THIS year, then I think a transfer may be possible. Not sure if it's too late now.

Id say stick at it until the end of semester 1 then if your opinion doesnt change drop out.
think of the future - is it necessary for you to get this degree? if not why be unhappy

Thank you for your reply! We have our half term holiday beginning on friday and that's the end to our first term/block so I think that would be a good point to make a decision? I think I will take time to assess whether this degree is neccessary and work from there.
