Recently noticed that on their website it says "typical offers also require STEP ll". I really would prefer not to have to do it. How do they judge whether or not to make that a part of your offer? Some people have told me it's essentially just the luck of the draw. Is this true?
I am currently studying Maths, FM and Computer science and I'm doing an EPQ. Predicted an A* in Maths and computer science and an A in FM.
Already achieved an A in Maths and FM for AS

I suggest you go through last years IC Comp Sci applicants thread to get an idea of how competitive Imperial really is for Comp Sci.

Some very strong candidates were rejected so even those given STEP offers were relieved. I'm sure it will be even more competitive for this year's entry as Comp Sci is a growth subject
