So I got kicked out of Med school this Summer after 1 year, got over it, now I am wanting to reapply for Chemical Engineering and Chemistry (courses that I I will enjoy). I got kicked out for failing a resit - honestly, I wasn't enjoying the course and it was more something my parents put me up to do, which I realise was a mistake now but oh well. It is also why I didn't bother appealing.
I know that I am entitled to state my attendance to my previous uni on my UCAS; and this will put me in a negative light. So I was hoping to leverage the situation in my Personal Statement by mentioning it as something of an eye-opener and now I get the chance to study something I am truly passionate about. However, I have read a lot of TSR posts advising against giving the previous uni much mention at all in the PS.
So, anyone got opinions? Would be great to hear advice from people that were in a similar position to me or something
