Reading or Leicester

I want to do English/English and American Studies but I'm torn. Reading is ABB-BBB and Leicester is ABB, I was just wondering if anyone has any comments about the campus or student life/accommodation for either uni's?

By all means go to Reading. At least because Leicester is a dull, colourless city with depressing architecture and similarly daunting accent, just as the rest of t̶h̶e̶ ̶E̶n̶g̶l̶i̶s̶h̶ ̶d̶e̶s̶e̶r̶t̶s̶ the Midlands.
