    1 a) this molecule has a central chlorine atom surrounded by five fluorine atoms,sketch a dot and cross diagram of the molecule.

    I have no idea how to do this,it's not possible if chlorine only needs 1 electron do have a full outer shell,how on earth do you draw the dot and cross diagram for this question?!

    They do IF5, which is the same as ClF5, but I'd go through some of the simpler ones first and maybe the extra videos to explain what he's doing.
