If you're trying to rationalise the denominator, then you need to add instead of subtract on the bottom

ie (3rt2 - 3) * (3rt2 +3) on the bottom

This uses the idea of 'difference of two squares' to get rid of the rt2 on the bottom completely

rather than multiplying top and bottom by 3-rt2, multiply by 3+rt2. If simplified correctly you should get rt 2 as the length of l, as 3rt2 times rt2 = 6, hope this helped

Spot on, OP needs to work on Surds multiplication as well but I'm sure they will get there
