    sketch y = sinx, y = cosx, y = tanx... look at the graphs

    eg to find arccos(1) you look at the horizontal line y = 1 and see where it cuts the cos graph.

    I don't think that a 3 4 5 triangle will help here. There are two right angled triangles that will help - a 1 1 root(2) one and a 1 root(3) 2 one.
