# mechanics 2- circular motion watch

1. First ever post...so go easy...just can't the right answer.

An aircraft of 2 tonnes files at 540kmh-1 in a horizontal circular arc to change its direction of motion from bearing 320° to bearing 046°. This manoeuvre is executed in 30 seconds, with the aircraft banked at an angle of 'a' to the horizontal. Calculate two values of 'a' and the corresponding values of the lift force perpendicular to the surface of the aircraft's wings.

My answer is wrong for the first angle

v = wr not w^2r
