Hi I’m looking for help/guidance, I’m currently studying at HND level and SAAS funds me, but I no longer enjoy my course and I plan to leave as I have no energy for it anymore. How do I cancel my student loan and do I pay back straight away or? I have anxiety about calling them right now

    1. Go and see a student advisor, welfare and your tutor.
    2. You follow the unis formal withdrawal procedure. You also need to let SAAS the last formally agreed date of attendance. Your uni may give you a letter of confirmation of withdrawal.
    3. They ask for a repayment / return of money you havent been entitled to i.e 10 week term and left after 5 weeks, then they will want the 5 weeks money back. You probably need to fond a replacement tenant.

    4. Other debt is normal student debt and not repayable till you earn over £17775 and then its 9% of the excess.

    Nothing to be afraid of.
