    as part of a language investigation for my A2 Coursework, I'm doing research for gender and language. please comment and vote in the poll!

    The amounts are similar in my personal experience, but I do find females are a bit more... brash? About it. Though I'm going more from high school experience since none of my college friends really do so.

    I believe men interrupt more as they are seen as having more power in society today, and thus they try and emphasise that through language. Although context is important and there is most certainly a tonne of females who are fond of interrupting as well.
