    Hi guys,
I was wondering which universities are best for particular types of students?
I am looking at different universities and I'm unsure which ones will suit me best, as I don't care much for nightlife and would rather be near the beach or the woods. I also prefer relaxed, smaller areas rather than busy cities.

I've heard the Penryn Campus with Exeter Uni has the relaxed, personal feel I'm looking for, and I was wondering if there were any others like that?

PS- I am looking to study Environmental Sciences and preferably a Russel Group University

Keele University has a large campus, which has lots of greenery and is surrounded by woodland and countryside. There are various Environmental Science degrees on offer, you can choose to study Environmental Science on its own, or combine it with other subjects like Geography or Biology. Although Keele isn't Russell Group, it's still a great uni and I would definitely recommend it (though I may be slightly biased as it's my uni )

Apart from the shameless Keele plug above :mmm: Nottingham is regarded as pretty along with Exeter.:yep:

Do think about the quieter cities with not a lot of nightlife too - particularly the older cities as well.:yep: Limiting yourself to countryside can be a bit awkward for your decisions.

    P.S. Apply to Keele.:teehee:

Cambridge, and go to Girton. You'll never have to see a human again if you don't want

Joking aside...anything outside very big cities like London, Birmingham, Manchester would probably suit. Even in London depending where you go you can get moderately quiet patches of nature (for example, if you're at Imperial, Hyde park is just a stones throw above).
