I want to do my A-Level maths and further maths With AQA but I don't want to do any coursework a la the s1a module. What is the best set of modules to take for A-Level Maths?

Are you a private candidate sitting A-level maths? When do you plan on sitting these exams? (this is important, as you may not even be sitting the old specification)

As _gcx points out, your last chance to sit the old specification would be summer 2018. If you can prepare all 12 units in time for that then you could choose the non-coursework statistics 1B. C1-4, M1, S1 is the most common maths combination.
You would otherwise sit the new linear specification with a completely new structure and set of options for further maths.

Would it perhaps be better to go along with CCEA?

I don't know enough about ccea to comment. I believe they are not introducing their new specification until next year.
