Will Russell Group Uni's look at ABC predicted grades? Watch

    • Thread Starter

I'm predicted A B C for my A levels and I'm not sure if this is good enough to get into Russell Group Uni's like Nottingham.
Anyone know if it is worth applying to them?

It would probably be good to know what you're applying for and what the entrance grades are

But, in general, you're gonna struggle but it's worth the chance. Do your best to get the predictions up - let your teachers know your ambitions, complete extra work for them, keep up with deadlines etc to prove that you deserve it. You're looking more to have around AAB-AAA to be in with a better chance. If you can't, I'd still apply for one RG uni as your ambitious choice but don't be disheartened if you don't get an offer. Make sure you have 4 reachable options so you don't waste all your choices on ones you're not likely to get in.

With a VERY strong personal statement and teacher reference - you might get a look in.

(BTW - you will have to perform quite a way above your predictions to actually meet whatever offer they give you, think about this and whether you'll actually be able to get them)

    Good Luck X
