    Hey dudes,
I am currently doing my AS Levels and I'm currently taking 4 A Levels (Maths, Further Maths, Sociology and History). I have already took Economics, Media, Maths and Further maths last year finishing with AADE. I changed to a different college so I'm on the new spec for everything. I am currently getting AAAC with my C being in History but I am struggling with it. Is it worth dropping History and concentrating on my other 3 subjects?

Typically, university offers are made with 3 A Levels and maybe some other small requirements depending on the course and so on.
So if you are applying for university, I'd say its better to have 3 good grade over 2 good and 2 average grades.

hmm well, yeah you could drop it.

But are you sure you need to drop? It's still October, and AAAC is really good for October. I got a C in my December mocks for history then in June (external exams) I had an A, because its all about acting on your teachers feedback .(I was doing 4AS levels and now do 3 A-Levels year 13)

If you are struggling and you don't think it would benefit you to take it, I would drop it and focus on the 3 remaining subjects.

Thing is my college are doing internal exams so won't actually gain anything from this year :P

I’d personally say drop it if you don’t particularly enjoy it, of course if history was something you want to pursue In the future my advice would be different. But dropping my 4th A Level subject was the best decision I ever made because it gave me so much time to work on the 3 subjects I had left and make sure I got the best grades possible
