I am in quite the predicament. I want to go to a good university next year but I am predicted AAD and the universities I want to go to most likely will not accept me. Should I bother applying or not? Maybe I'll get lucky? I'm really not sure. I am planning on studying an A-level in my own time to hopefully achieve AAB

My top 6 universities I would want to apply to are: Warwick, Lancaster, Leeds, Uni of Birmingham and Uni of Sheffield.

The worst that can happen is you don't get accepted or don't get the grades, in which case you just don't accept any offers and do what you were planning to do next year anyway!

No harm in applying (except for the £24 fee) but don't go more than 2 grades above your predictions (you can, but your odds start to decrease dramatically).
