How do I increase my grade to an A* watch

    So now I'm achieving normally A in English language and literature but I would like to know how I could increase my grade to an A* or how do people get A**.

    Read books (both fiction and non-fiction) to improve your vocabulary and analytical skills; make sure that you are confident with your spelling and grammar skills because SPAG is worth a lot of marks for both Language papers (at least for AQA).

    Yeah, make sure your SPAG is practically flawless. These are the somewhat "easy" marks that you don't want to use.
    My English teacher tells us to read, read, READ. Literally anything (the more the better tbh) esecially different forms and genres. Then make a word bank of new terms you learnt and include what they mean.
    If your studying a text/play I would suggest buying a revision guide, these do help and also provide some excellent practice questions for revision.
    Also ask your teacher for sample grade 8/9 (A*-A**) PEA's/ essays use these to give you an idea of how to structure your answers.
