My two fav unis are cardiff and bristol. i really like bristol as a city and uni, though cardiff is my 'safe area' cos it's close to home and i know the city well. problem is bristol gave me AAB offer whereas cardiff is AAA. really thought bristol would have been higher.
i want to firm bristol and insurance cardiff initially, now i dont know what to do because it's ''the other way around'' if ygm

Firm the one you want to go to more, despite the lower offer.

Firm the one you want to go to more, but remember if you miss the offer you're likely to be going to clearing, also don't firm yet, you have until May!

I'd personally firm Bristol, the lower offer is just a bonus. Of course this means you'd be ruling out Cardiff, their loss for the higher offer though I suppose?

My firm choice was BBB and my insurance AAB. Turns out I got A*AB so I would have gotten into either but my firm was my favourite, and I love it here.

Don't get distracted by Ucas procedures into changing your mind. Go with your favourite as your first choice and be thankful Bristol were generous!

You can have a higher offer as insurance if you want. Better that than putting down a uni you don't want to attend.

Firm the one you love most! The offer difference doesn't matter.
