    I am probably going to get all b's in my gcse and if i were to get all a's in history politics and english lit in a level could i go lse?My point is are gcse's a majorly contributing factor is all b's ok to get in for politics and philosophy,even though i have all a's in a level?

    yes as far as u ve like 5 gcse are grade B ... must top universities want that ... and a pass in Mathematics and English yes .. but I advice you to have a look at the universities websites.

    It depends - if you're at a school where most people get Bs or worse than LSE would take that into consideration.

    The problem is that there will be loads of people applying who have straight A*s at GCSE and predicted straight A*s at A-level, so if you have all Bs with no good reason/mitigating factors, then your applications will obviously be a lot weaker.

    By all means apply, as it's only one choice out of 5, but don't get your hopes up and make sure you have a few other choices that are a bit more realistic.
