Hi everyone. So I applied for MA RN at Salford yesterday, for the January 2018 intake, I will be specifically choosing the mental health branch. I've already got a degree in Psychology and have spent the last 4 years working in various care settings. I have a few questions, hopefully somebody can help!

It was mentioned somewhere about being able to transfer module credits from my BSc over, but is there the option to just re-do them anyway? I'd quite like the refresher.

As far as I can understand it, there is full government financial support, plus a bursary from the university?

I have a child, she is nearly 3 and currently in nursery. I read that the course is structured as a few weeks of lectures, a few weeks of placements. How do I get around this with childcare as I'm assuming the placements won't be the same days every week? I will apparently get up to £160 a week for childcare, but this isn't enough for full time childcare, which is what I will need if I am on a rota?

    Do placements include weekend working?

I was thinking of keeping my current job but only working on sundays, seeing how that goes on, but if I find it too much I can swap to bank shifts. Is this feasible? I live at home with my fiance and 2 year old so any extra income helps.

    What holidays do we get?

Finally, is there anybody else starting or applied for the january intake?!

    HELP A GIRL OUT!

    Thanks :')
