Well yeah because they were not going to allow me on holiday. I mean it was KFC for crying out loud they should have let me so I swore at them
It does depend on the work rota, but holiday time could be booked later down the line. Why did you swear at them?

Because i had booked it before i started there and asked at the interview but they said no. It was my first holiday and a sports match I wanted to go to so it was very important.

I understand you were looking forward to it and it was pre-booked, but sometimes job openings aren't very flexible. If the job was important to you, it was necessary to reschedule the holiday, or cancel it. By no means should you swear at them. If you still wanted to go on the holiday and you wanted to reject the job, then do so politely. Swearing at them is not the way forward, it doesn't really achieve anything.

Well I know that now. But I wanted to job and the holiday. Anyway when would I have been allowed a holiday as it was a part time job with my college. So glad I did not take it because I enjoyed the holiday. If i did take I would have had to have people shouting at me and I would have gotten REALLY ANGEY

I tell you what, I've got a relatively quiet day today, if you want, send me your location (doesn't need to be a postcode, just a city) and without a shadow of doubt in my mind, I'm confident that I will be able to find something.

Keep going. You need to apply all day every day, sign up to Reed, TotalJobs etc etc and set the one click apply setting then just blast it.

Don't worry about other people and what they're getting offered, focus on you.
Blasting an application isn't advisable for some types of jobs. If you are applying to menial, min-wage, simpler jobs then yes, a blast would be sufficient. But if you are applying to more technical or complex roles, then you need to tailor your application.

Agreed. And for the type that the OP is after, a blast would be sufficient.
