Is it worth applying for Law with AAB predictions ? The B was in a subject new to me at A Level. 8A* and 2A at GCSE. I know where I need to improve now but it's too late as predictions are set and school won't budge.

Yep! You can apply to Keele (ABB), Kent, Exeter, Sussex, Surrey (I recommend), UEA, Sheffield and many more! Your grades at GCSE can really help too.

Also, if you decide that you want to go to higher universities? Apply to them? Sometimes they give you offers based on contextual factors and your personal statement. Even more, there’s always adjustment at the end if you achieve higher than your predictions.

Kind of? I researched about this and applied to Cambridge for Law with 3As and you need 1 A* and 2As. But I applied because my contextual factors is something that they’re really looking for! I also applied to Keele, Warwick, Birmingham and York.

I’m going to the Birmingham open day tomorrow.

Well done on your Cambridge application. I am considering reapplying next year with firm grades as I really think I can get AAA, school telling me to apply this year to be in the system for clearing (so positive).
