A survey by Soap Supplies has researched how often Brits from different areas swear, rating each area with a swear words per hour (SWPH) score.

Wales and Greater London both scored a whopping 12 SWPH closely followed by Yorkshire and Northern Ireland.

You can read the full story here.

Do this surprise you? Where does where you live rank?

Yeah SE should be higher by 2 because I'm here.

On a serious note... who actually would survey about this?

I'd like to think they just went up to random people on the street, asking them if they wanted to participate in a survey. The number of people who responded "**** off" was then consolidated to form the results data.

    I'm in London.

Accurate. I probably swear more than 12 times per hour.

Glasgow's very obviously been avoided completely. Can't say I blame them.
