Advice for medical school choices when applying as graduate? watch

    • Thread Starter

    Hi there,
Was wondering if I could get a little hand deciding on where to apply, as the UCAS deadline approaches on Sunday. My stats are - 2:1 in Genetics from Glasgow, ABB at A Level, 8A* + 3A GCSE. UKCAT - 682.5 average (720 VR section). Plenty of work experience paid/unpaid and voluntary work, etc.

Basically I'm having trouble deciding as my UKCAT is a bit borderline for some places, especially applying as a graduate. I'm currently thinking

    Glasgow (5 year)
    Warwick (4 year)
    Barts (4 year)
    Manchester (5 year).

Was just wondering opinions on this selection, and whether UKCAT cutoff is too low? Other possibilities where I meet the minimum academic requirements are:

Sheffield 5 year, Cardiff 5 year, Aberdeen 5 year, Kings 4 year and Southampton 4 + 5 year.

Which ones would I be suited to, based on UKCAT etc?

    Thanks very much!
