    Hi guys, so i've been completely stuck on this one question. Please if you know, please show me a method of working it out?

    You are asked to prepare 300ml (millilitre) of chlorhexidine acetate solution so that when you use 5ml (millilitre) of this solution diluted to 500ml (millilitre) a 0.08% w/v solution is produced? How many grams of chlorhexidine do you use?

    thankyou

    Dunno if you still need this but I wanted to give it a go.
    0.08%w/v = 0.08g/100ml = 0.4g/500ml
    Undiluted = 0.4g/5ml = 24g/300ml
    So you need 24g
    Someone please tell me if I got this wrong?
