I am currently doing my UCAS application. I was wondering, say I do a Bsc in Financial Mathematics, will I be able to do a Masters year in straight mathematics, or would I need to have a degree in Mathematics first.

It will be up to the university offering the masters to look at the content of your BSc and decide whether it has suitable content.
