I had failed last year miserably and had a terrible year. I got UUU at AS in Biology (AQA) Chemistry (AQA) and Maths (OCR). I am just wanting to know if I can resit externally and I don't care about the price to resit. I am wanting to know if it is possible in November 2017 or else I would resit for July 2018.

If price isn't of any consequence to you, it'll be possible for July 2018. Doesn't your Sixth Form let you redo Year 12?

Summer (May/June, not July) is possible. The entry deadline at the exam board is 21 February but centres will set an earlier internal deadline.

Eesh, that's rough. Right, then you'll need to save up enough to retake them, and find another school or institute and ask them about retaking. There's a deadline of 21-23 February (varies by year), and an earlier internal one (usually first week of term after Christmas - 6-7 January or so?). You then show up there to take the exams in May or June.

So, by "internal one" I mean the date schools/institutions themselves start submitting forms for assessments to the relevant exam boards. They don't do that until the beginning of January, and you have about a month from there to sort stuff out.

Resitting a levels or as levels ??? Not to be depressing but no school would take someone who got UUU , so you may have to rely on yourself now. About the exams , if you are external you can submit yourself into any school as schools are exam centres and if you pay for the exam price and maybe admin fees etc then you can sit your exams there

They have to have submitted their entries to the exam board by 21 February (which is probably during half term). They will make their deadline for other people to confirm entries to them earlier than that so they have time to make the entries in the software, deal with any errors that arise etc, before the start of half term.

Sorting out the details with external candidates can often take a while (as they don't know their ULN, or UCI etc) so I would expect the deadline for them to by the end of January but sometime centres close their books to external books earlier - even before Christmas- if they have accepted as many as they think they can handle.
