What is the nightlife like in Plymouth compared to bigger cities like Bristol/Leeds/Newcastle/Manchester?

It obviously not going to be as good as manchester. But it's decent. 2 large clubs, 4 or 5 smaller ones. Ones that just play cheese or underground, far bars ECT. If there is a course here you like. The night life is not a negitive.

If you was picking your uni based on nothing but night life then Manchester wins. It's the second or third biggest city in the UK with the highist number of pubs and bars per person in the UK.

If you don't like what is in the main city centre there is lots in "greater manchest" that are just a tram ride away.

But like I said Plymouth is still a good night out with lots on offer. And you should think more about what course you want to do, as you will have a good night out no matter witch one you pick.

Ok cheers. I have thought about what I want to do and the course I want to do limits my options down a substantial amount - only 5 different Universities. Manchester was a less desirable option for me, since it's the furthest from home and subsequently harder to travel to and from. Although, it seems like it could be more of an option for me now, potentially. I'll look into it. Thanks!
