I have been doing CCF (cadets) for a year now and I really love it. However, the boys in my section don't like me much because I know the 6th formers teaching us quite well from main camp last year and I like leading when no one else steps up.

Is there anything I can do?

**** them who gives a **** if they are jealous of you? In the grand scheme of things it is insignificant so just forget about it.

Don't worry about them / feel like you have to change because of them. Continue to enjoy it as they're just jealous!

I do that with Army Cadets – I haven't been promoted yet but I'm most senior in lieu of an NCO so......

Point is, someone has to be in charge. If they don't like it, **** them. (not literally please, I've heard the stories of what goes on in the *boys' wing*).

As long as you're not doing anything wrong, just do you. Who cares what they think. Be in charge. Lead. They can just trip over a pair of twisters and fall into a bloody ditch
