So it's past midnight at the moment and I'm finding it very difficult to sleep due to anxiety so I thought I'd take 15 minutes to make a self love thread.
The idea is that you post a statement of one (or more) thing you do to look after yourself on a tough day, then read what everyone else thinks too! Try a slightly less obvious one that isn't on every self care/love thread you've ever seen.
So mine is to get out my bullet journal and write a list of the things I'm worried about and then next to them a reason why I shouldn't be worried about them.
It doesn't just have to be about anxiety, it can be anything!

When the voices are being really loud I like to take showers - stick my head under the water so all I can hear is the water in my ears and then just stand there with my eyes closed. Depending on mood sometimes I have it freezing cold if they're making me feel angry, but really hot otherwise. The water pressure in my current shower isn't as powerful as previously so doesn't block them out as well but it still works better than most other things.Last edited by Sabertooth; 14-10-2017 at 01:51.
