Is it possible I can do a foundation year at Durham, if I don't do as well as I wanted to this year, for my A levels?

    Take a look here https://www.dur.ac.uk/courses/info/?...018#admissions
Seems they want you to speak to them before applying as they don't have specific grade requirements

    Thanks anyways!

Did you receive a reply? I'm in a similar boat. I really flopped in the subject I wanted to study at Uni, now I'm considering foundation courses. (Currently on a gap year tho)

    Sorry for the late reply!
But yes I did email them, and get a reply back.

    "Thank you for your email.

As you have engaged in post 16 education in the past 3 years you are not eligible to apply to the Foundation programme. We wish you well finding a course."

Was a bit disappointed in the email, but I'm just going to have to work extra hard this year, and achieve good enough grades.
