    How would someone approach this question?What methods and steps should someone use?

    L: x-2y+2=0
    M: 3x+y-15=0

    Find the points P, Q, and R.

    Different ways to get the area. You can find the exact angle between L and the y-axis then do 1/2absin(C). Or you can use Heron's formula since you can work out all 3 side lengths. Or you can split PQR into two triangles by dropping a line from R to the y-axis - this gives two right-angled trangles.
