I'm an overseas student applying to Uni of Cambridge. I sent my UCAS application on the 14th of October. In the acknowledgment letter they state that "It will usually take up to 48 hours for us to process and send it to the universities and colleges that you have applied to. At deadlines this may be longer." Does this mean that the university will receive my application after the deadline and consider it to be a late application?

Ucas will flag applications that they received by the deadline. Oxbridge use those flags not the date that they receive it.
