I go to a grammar school, and my mum wants me to take this access to HE course, for Humanities and Social Studies however many teachers and other students think it wont challenge me enough and A-LEVEL is the best route for me. What should I do? And do only mature students take access courses?

Access is 1 year and accepted in about 70% of unis, but not for certain subjects.

A levels 2 years and accepted in 100% of courses plus more flexible and recognisable to employers.

Imo do A levels unless you know the course you want accepts access and you are in a rush. A levels are superior in the long run.

Access courses are now the default way to get into uni for age 19+

Thank you so much. I defintely want to do A-Levels now but my parents arent being supportivee, neither is my older sister, so I'm planning on going to my sixth form open evening myself. What else can I do to persuade them?
