Is it possible to study 3 a's subjects, continue them at A2 but pick an additional As at your second year and stay an extra year at sixth-form to complete the A2 of the last subject?

Yes, depending on the policy of your sixth form, but that's quite a pointless method for two main reasons. 1) unis want all A2 subjects to be sat in the same sitting (usually); 2) there is no university that wants 4 A2 subjects, so why not just do 3 A2s next year + the AS and leave it there?

Oh thanks and it's because I now realised I need biology to do what I wanna do and it's too late to change my current subjects
