    Basically the question, would you say it’s necessary to go to film school/take a film course, to be successful in the film industry as a producer? Or is it better to learn of experience, start working early and work your way up? Also, I’m 16, and in the first year or sixth form. Thank you!

    Definitely not necessary. Plenty of filmmakers didn't go to film school, and especially nowadays with platforms like YouTube it's a lot easier to put yourself out there and make a name for yourself.

    I'm not saying that film school is pointless, but I don't think that it's the only route to being a producer.
