Do I have a chance of getting into UCL (Biotechnology)? (Unfair Predicted Grade)Watch
GCSEs: 5A*s 4As 2Bs (A*s in Biology and Chemistry - for reference later in the post).
A2 Predicted Grades: AAB (studying biology, sociology and chemistry - with the B in chemistry).
I didnt do any AS exams but instead our school did end of year tests (BBD in biology sociology and chemistry respectively), so I asked to do a resit in Chemistry because I knew I could do waaayyy better, revised hard and got a B (was hoping to get an A predicted )
IN OTHER WORDS
I want to study Biotechnology at UCL (AAA entry requirements). Do I stand a chance if I have a good PS and references? + how likely are UCL to realise I can succeed my predicted grades by looking at my GCSEs? (loool might be a stupid question but I'm looking for anything at this point haha).
Thanks in advance
Oh that is p unfair. Well hopefully you do get an offer, you aren't drastically below the standard offer. I guess it depends how many people apply with predicted grades at or above the standard offer and how many offers they wanna give out.
With UCL, I personally think there's a small chance they could give you an offer if you have a really good personal statement and good GSCE grades. You have four other choices so might as well put UCL in otherwise you could regret it if you don't at least try.
