    Look at the course(s) you want to do then look at the subject requirements. Also look up "facilitating subjects".

    Russell Group unis tend to like students to have one of the so called "facilitating subjects". However, the classification of subjects as "facilitating" and "non-facilitating" is pretty arbitrary in most cases, so your A level choices are unlikely to rule you out if you produce a strong application. As a general rule, the only two subjects which will disadvantage you (unless you take them as a 4th subject) are General Studies and Critical Thinking.

    Don't place too much emphasis on what you're studying - it's not THAT important. You can't place enough emphasis on what grade you get, however.
