Yes, I'm a bit late to the party but I just watched all of Fawlty Towers for the first time this weekend and I'm gutted I hadn't seen it until now.

    It's hilarious :teehee:

what are your favourite moments from the show? My fave was the 'talking' moose head moment. Was in tears of laughter at that scene

    'We did not start it'
'Yes you did you invaded Poland'

And when the guest dies, and they're trying to hide the body.

I also love the talking moose.

I can't believe you haven't seen it until now. That show was my childhood.

I don't like it, there's way too much shouting. I finished Black Books on Netflix (I like short comedies to watch while on exercise bike) and remembered enjoying Fawlty Towers a number of years ago but when I rewatched it there was so much shouting, it really put me off.

I see what you mean about it being a bit too shouty at times, at times I thought that too. I've watched some of Black Books but couldn't really get into it have you seen The IT Crowd? I've just started watching it on Netflix and its hilarious

I haven't seen it but I've heard of it. Does it have a lot of plot? I tend to forget things one episode to another so prefer stand-alone episodes. I just checked and I think US Netflix has it so I'll check it out. I'm always on the hunt for good stuff to watch - exercise bikes are so boring so if I can find something really engrossing to pass the time that would be excellent.

My wife doesn't like Black Books either. I wouldn't say it's the funniest thing I've ever seen but it passed the time sufficiently. Have you seen Peep Show? (probably) Too much plot for me now but I watched it a couple of years ago and it was brilliant.

I love all the interactions between Basil and Mrs RIchards. Some of my favourite ever comedy moments.
