    Hey there!
I've been reading about IGCSE heavy unis for quite a long time but I still don't get it. How does it work when it comes to EU or even Oversea applicants? As an EU student my school does not offer IGCSEs. However I do have my A levels during afternoons. I am kind of nervous because I sent my medicine application but I dont really know about this particular thing.

So your application should be assessed on the qualifications you already have and your predicted grades. Just because the qualifications in your country are not congruent does not mean that you will be at any advantage or disadvantage the university will have entry requirements for applicants from any country based on what qualifications you're currently doing.

I wouldn't worry too much about iGCSEs since they're a level 2 qualification and the vast majority of degree courses have entry requirements of level 3 qualifications (A Level or equivalent) which means these are the ones which are most important.

Universities simply do not care whether you have GCSEs or IGCSES. There are no substantial differences between the qualifications. I had half and half, and it was never an issue.

If you are in a country that does not offer GCSEs or IGCSEs, then they will just go on your school reference and your a level predicted grades. They won't hold it against you.
